ASSESS what you already have and use. Read the labels and look up your existing products online to see how they rate. Sites like the Environmental Working Group’s Skin Deep or Think Dirty are really helpful in breaking down the good, bad, and ugly of what we put on our skin.
DECIDE which products you want to change first. Don’t wear out your wallet! The best ones to replace first are the ones you use the most.
REPLACE products as you can and as you are comfortable. There are great DIY recipes to create your own products, and there are usually tester bottles in stores to try before you buy.
