Food and symptom journaling is one way to gather information to share with your healthcare team.
This can be as simple as downloading an app to use on your phone, keeping an elaborate spreadsheet, writing in a notebook or pretty journal…ANYTHING can work as long as you use it! I find that making notes each day in my calendar works best for me.
Keep it simple. Start by picking three things to track each day. Examples are food, exercise, pain, prescriptions/medication, energy…add more if needed as you get comfortable in the habit.
